I really owe an update, especially with barely (or not at all) keeping up with stuff. I've been really stressed and basically blasted emotionally so I really haven't done anythng. So if anyone thinks I'm ignoring them or not really watching I am really really sorry, I just can't keep up with things right now. After reading below (if you want to and have the time of course) I hope you guys will understand and cut me a little slack.



Saturday I had a garage sale with my mother-in-law. It took a lot of preparation last week. It turned out good, got quite a bit of cash and got rid of some things that I were never going to get used again probably. And got rid of a LOT of baby clothes that are too small even to be passed down to my friend's son. - Now that's the good part.



During the garage sale I got a call that my grandpa was in the hospital because he wouldn't stop bleeding. He wasn't in ICU though and it had happened before so even though I was concerned, I wasn't too worried. So I stayed at the garage sale and afterwards both me and my hubby crashed for the night. In the morning he checked his messages and got a message from my father at 2 in the morning basically sounding like my grandpa was about to die and the doctors were encouraging all the family to get there. It was 7 am when we got the message. So I called my parents immediately and they said my grandpa was stable and the bleeding had stopped but he was still in ICU. So, we spent the whole day in the hospital. It was okay, we brought stuff to do and I got to see my grandpa a few times and see him looking better by the end of the day. But I felt so helpless. There wasn't anything I could do to help and the shock from the morning just had me nearly in tears all day.



This week... I can't say I was in any shape to do much but we cleaned the garage, mowed the lawn, and I washed all the blankets in the house. We're trying to get things in order.

Why? Because, this has been planned for some time. We're going to my cousin Anjanette's wedding in Illinois. It's the first video taping we've actually been asked to do so we want to make it great. It's the longest road trip my husband will have ever been on though so we're both a little nervous for him. There's a twinge of worry because even though my grandpa's home now, I'm really worried about him. I'm actually glad my parents already decided they couldn't go because I feel much more comfortable with them here in case anything happens.

So now it's Thursday and I'm not even packed yet. So from the moment I post it until tonight, I'll likely be packing (yeah it takes me a while, especially with bringing equipment for taping and everything). So I'm sorry about my absence. I'll try to catch up next week. you guys!



My hubby and my anniversary is coming up May 12th!!!
