This is the anime version of my son... who usually has fairly long hair like this.

His name, "Goukai" means lively, and if any of you has ever met my son, you'd know that is fitting. The boy won't sit still for 5 seconds!

Cool! So how'd you come up with the name? I looked up words to see what they'd be in Japanese. To get that name I looked up "lively".

Thank you! :thanks: Yeah, I had to change some of the colors around a little bit but I'm fairly pleased with the end result. The only reason I'm not completely pleased is because I'm developing some new shading skills and I wasn't able to use all of them in it. I guess that's part of art though, you change and develop.

Yeah. I know how that feels. I want to try some new techniques with a picture, but then I don't get to fit everything into the picture, so I have to try the new skills I didn't get to use some other time. But still, you're improving. :D
