I entered this one (without the background) to the WC Anime Club mascot contest for this school year (2007-2008). I don't think I'll win cause well, like all contests it's more about popularity in the end. And since I'm the boss-man's wife and have to do a lot of bossing myself, I'm not a very popular person in the club. :lmao:

Anyways, I also named her (finally). Takami!

Ode to con season...

I was thinking about A-kon while I was working with this in photoshop so I came up with the idea to have this be a picture of someone cosplaying at A-kon. I used an actual place inside the dealers room for the background (though it is rarely that free of people since it's one of the few places in the dealers room you can actually take pictures).

It's also my FIRST full submission for the 100 theme challenge. Which of course, is SMILE, which I thought was fitting since it's a picture and some people say that before they take a picture.

Thanks :iconwraith11: for your tips on the background. I didn't get to use all of them but it will help me with my future pictures. :D

lol I have a hard time criticizing my own work, so when ppl point out something about it, it helps me realize that I really might be missing something.

And yes :D You're the first one to actually point that out. My full name is Kaitlin, but I just usually go by Kait anymore :D

Really? Man I criticize my work like crazy. There's always about 20 or so things that I can find that I didn't do right but if I mess with it too much then sometimes I end up making it worse. :lgiggle:
